Tara Mitra

Tara Mitra is a yoga therapist, Vedic chanting teacher and educator with twenty-three years of practice within the Krishnamacharya lineage. Of East Indian and Canadian heritage, she has spent years living and studying in Mysore, authorised Level 2 in Ashtanga yoga under KPJAYI and a long-time student of Raghu Ananthanarayanan, Dr Vigneshwar Bhat, and Dr Padmini. Her work integrates asana, Patanjali’s Yoga Sūtras, Antaraṅga Yoga, Pranayama, Vedic chanting, and Ayurveda for practitioners and teachers ready to move beyond the surface of practice.
