Anna Palmer has been on a self healing journey since she was 12 years old and developed an eating disorder coupled with anxiety and depression, leading her to deep soul and holistic, somatic healing from a trauma informed lens. Now in recovery for almost a decade, she is able to bring embodied healing into her professional life as a licensed massage therapist, healer in Reiki and Craniosacral Therapy and Astrologer. But her first love of writing and poetry has remained. Healing happens in relationship to self, words, and others. May her words serve as the reminder.
Anna has authored a book encapsulating her journey and story, entitled: coming hOMe: Healing From an Eating Disorder by Finding Beauty in Imperfection. It narrates her mental health journey of healing an eating disorder through a holistic lens of trauma, addiction, and somatic-based understanding of healing.
