The “Peace” President enters a War; retains support of his Cult.

It’s a powerful point, Rabbi—citizens in these countries we make war on, and citizens in this country, are largely beset by domestic enemies, and are not themselves our enemies.

Old men sending young people to die, you know: quotes on War is Hell.

Remember how Trump tore up the no-Nukes-for-Iran deal? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

It’s hard to feel, there’s so much going on, sometimes, and that’s how they like it.

It’s a deliberate strategy, called Flood the Zone.

We look at our phones and it all feels far away. What feels real, and perhaps taken for granted, is our coffee in the morning, the roof over our heads at night.

Well many in our world don’t have that. Instead they have sirens warning them of bombs. No food for breakfast. Stress instead of blood in their veins.

Protect our Public Lands. Protect our Health Care. Never again don’t vote or vote for the crazy greedy one because it’s interesting or you don’t mind if he makes things far, far worse for others. Never again care only if it affects you, or me, or your loved ones. Care.

May there be Peace on Earth, and goodwill to All. May the midterms, our last chance to protect our democracy from those who would lock it down and us out, send a message heard around the world. May we call our Congresspeople and reps and protest safely and peaceably in the meantime. Let’s do this. Together, we can care and we can heal—and we can and must.

“Vote Republican in 2000 and get a tax bill that blows up the deficit and only helps the rich and get a Middle East war of choice.

Vote MAGA in 2024 and get a tax bill that blows up the deficit and only helps the rich and get a Middle East war of choice.”

“Given that all US intelligence agencies (along with those of other countries) don’t believe Iran was developing nuclear weapons, as recently confirmed by Trump’s Director of National Intelligence, how could that possibly be the right choice?”

“The current situation, where Israel starts wars, and we’re forced to fight in them, is terrible. There is clearly a master in the American-Israeli relationship, and it’s not us!”

“The US government lied about Iraq having WMDs and they’re lying about Iran’s nuclear weapon. The US is doing Israel’s bidding to further destabilize the region. And we will now watch our tax dollars fund another senseless war.”

“Of course it wasn’t [a smart decision], but it’s about what you’d expect that the president who lies about everything also lied about being the “pro peace” candidate, who spent years railing on us for helping Ukraine defend themselves and now turns around and bombs a country 5 MONTHS INTO OFFICE with zero actual intelligence.
If Iran was close to getting a bomb, which I doubt because Netanyahu has been claiming they’re two weeks away from nuclear weapons for about 15 years, then it’s because he withdrew from an Iran deal specifically meant to peacefully prevent the problem all because he couldn’t stand being tied to a deal that Obama signed. We have a schoolyard bully running the country.

In any case, why are we just piggybacking off of Israel’s decisions? Are we an independent superpower or are we just the lapdog of Netanyahu and Putin?”

“His own Director of National Intelligence said they weren’t anywhere close to a weapon. Trump’s response: “she’s wrong”.

“Firstly, Trump’s the one who tore up the JCPOA.
Secondly, there’s no credible evidence to suggest Iran’s developing nuclear armaments
Thirdly, Iran’s a member of the NPT.”

[reply to someone blessing God and our troops] …that’s not how war works. Old men wend young ones to war, lives get ruined.

“Gee, Wally, if Trump had not been so eager to cancel the nuclear deal Obama had accomplished, this would likely not be an issue… or a risk. Trump just hates what people he doesn’t like do, just because they did it… it sounds more like a little kid!”
