Sagittarius Full Moon: The Wild Unknown Calling. {June 11}

“Whether it’s science or magic, if it’s of fun benefit, enjoy!” ~ ed

We can feel it in the air, in the backdrop of life, a humming in the distance, a magnetic pulling on our bodies and beings. A subtle but growing hunger. A hunger of the famished soul. The undernourished soul. The deprived soul. The call to adventure. The call of the wild unknown. The call to let go of the stifling limitations of our comfort zone. The call to explore the new frontier. To envision a new soul adventure for the self.

Many of us have heard this calling for many moons now, and are awakening even more to the embodiment of the wild unknown within. The soul doesn’t play small in the calling to become more free. More untethered to what is false and what is binding us in fear, lack, and numbness. Devoid of true soul fulfillment.

We can all sense and feel this on some level. The changing of the guards. The shifting of the tides. That something is stirring deep from within us. A roaring, rumbling, rising reclamation of self and of soul. To say and proclaim to the universe, “I am ready to expand into greater soul becoming of limitless potential, ready to reclaim my creator template, speak life into these cells again, and live according to a deeper Awakening Truth within me.”

The soul is rising and emerging yet again through the shards of trauma healing, karmic cycles closing out now, ancestral healing spirals deepening and emerging back into truth. We have been moving through 2025 at an accelerated rate of growth and soul transformation, shedding skins, sloughing off the old decaying growth, and stepping deeper into our embodied soul and light codes.

With increasingly activated solar flares and emissions from the sun, the light body is bursting at the seams, purging toxins emotional, physical, and otherwise. We are recalibrating at rapid rates and sometimes, some days, the energetic waves hit us and hit us hard. Our nervous systems spin in a tizzy of frenetic, anxious energy, or our energy and bodies collapse in exhaustion in need of deep retreat and rest. Releasing judgment of the process, no matter how uncomfortable, messy, and and difficult it may be, is vital to the natural surrender of our resistance to the alchemy of change.

We have been moving through the energy of Gemini for the past few weeks now, a potent shift from the energy of Taurus season. Gemini season has brought in the mental acuity, the mental acceleration and activation, stirring the pot of our minds and stories we tell ourselves daily. The energy here, especially with that new moon in Gemini on May 26, has highlighted the outdated stories and narratives we’ve still been telling ourselves bent on lack, fear and self judgment. But we mustn’t judge or shame the voices either. Often times, these are adaptations of the lineages of ancestral wounding and traumas we’ve been given. Stories that became our own in our own unique shade of genetic and energetic wiring. These stories are not truth, though, and it is up to the radical soul to take radical responsibility to rewrite the narratives based on truth.

Gemini season is a mercurial time, a time of ideas generating more easily, new perspectives at play. A time when the mind can be overactive in overthinking as well, if we are not taking the needed time outs to discharge the excess mental energy and to ground. Gemini energy is the inherent duality of life, seeing that life is always presenting us with options. There can be fear stories here around choosing the “right” or most aligned option and we can go into a state of fear paralysis over which choice to make. Gemini reminds us choices are unlimited and it is simply a matter of tuning in as best we can in each moment and making a choice. And, then if need be, we can always course correct or realign with another choice. Gemini reminds us we are mutable and our lives and thoughts are changeable, not fixed and as static as they may seem.

Fear may convince us otherwise, but it is through slowing the mind down, breathing deeply (through the lungs that Gemini rules), self-regulating and calming the activated nervous system, that we remember our sovereignty to choose. We can choose to believe the known story of fear, or we can choose to believe the more unknown and perhaps unexperienced story of love and a grace filled universe here to support us endlessly. As the saying goes, where our attention goes, energy flows, and Gemini reminds us deeply of this innate power to direct our faculty of attention into spaces that uplift our energy and expand us into possibility, hope, and remembrance of truth. Gemini is the writer and the scribe, ruling our hands as well, to ask: how are we writing and directing the script of our lives? Our words are spells and we cast spells every time we think, speak, or write and give energy to particular words or phrases that shape the fabric of our reality.

We have been moving through the energies of Pluto retrograde for a few weeks now, a time to submerge into the shadows of psychic, subconscious influence, to see and remember our power and where we have outsourced our power to people, places, or things outside of us. And how to call that energy back and resource our own power internally. Pluto energy is of the soul. The soul map and guidebook to our power. Through the shadows of illusion, pain, and trauma, we clear and pave the way for truer soul power to emerge. This is Pluto’s first retrograde in the sign of Aquarius in our lifetime, highlighting the collective power struggles we’ve been in forgetting our true divine power. Aquarius rules future innovative energies, technology, the group mind, and the collective, community structures we belong to. Pluto is here to transform the outdated energies around such things. Societal change is knocking and Pluto is here to answer. Change, or get left behind, Pluto says. Transform, or stay disempowered and disconnected. Face your fears, or be swallowed whole by the chaos swirling around us as systems continue to collapse.

A new adventure is calling us. A new way of living. A new way of being. The upcoming full moon in Sagittarius on June 11 at 3:44 a.m. EST and at 20 degrees of the mutable fire sign is answering the call for us. But we are here to be full and active participants in this new soul calling. Because it’s an awakening back to our soul’s truth, guiding us deeper into the future vision of what’s possible for us and for humanity. This full moon is fiery, inspired, and here to set fire to what’s no longer aligned for us moving forward, by deeply calling in the truer aligned energy and path. Sagittarius energy is visionary, experiential, explorative, and bold. Sagittarius is ruled by the planet Jupiter, here to expand everything it touches and bring in the limitless. Jupiter can expand the “good/bad.” Wherever we focus our attention and energy, the thing or focal point expands. Jupiter reminds us of this inherent truth and universal law. Jupiter rules our belief systems as well and reminds us to believe in what’s possible rather than what could go wrong.

Jupiter shifts from its yearlong transit through Gemini into the watery sign of Cancer on June 9 and will be there for the next year. Jupiter in Cancer is a welcomed energy, a coming home, an expansion of the home energy. An emotional expansion here as well, perhaps a deeper connection to our emotions, but also can be an excessive emotional energy as well at times. Cancer rules how safe and secure we feel in the world. Jupiter wants to expand our ideas of safety and security. Can we feel at home and safe even if the world is collapsing around us? Can we feel safe and secure when we do travel and explore new frontiers? Can we bring this sense of home into the new and unknown? A literal expansion of family can happen here too, perhaps creating a family, birthing of children or perhaps even just expanding into the possibility that we too can have that for ourselves some day. Cancer energy is of the heart, a time to expand our heart, opening even wider to the healing balm of love available to us in subtle and profound ways if we allow it in.

This full moon in Sagittarius is opposing Jupiter, an emotional expansion emphasizing where we are no longer in alignment with our soul’s truth. The sun conjunct Jupiter expands our sense of self into belief of what’s possible if we let go of the excess emotional baggage. This full moon is expanding the heart space back into possibility. It’s asking us to take the adventure that frightens and delights us. To answer the soul calling to explore new realms. Sagittarius is the globe trotter and world traveler, so we may actually in the literal sense be planning a soul adventure or worldly trip in the coming few weeks or months. A soul calling to visit a particular place to activate dormant soul codes within us could be alive and real at this time. Fear could be popping up around taking the leap and the risk, but we know on a soul level we are meant to go and venture to these exact places.

This could be even more emphasized here with the nodes of fate squaring the sun and the moon during this full moon. The nodes of fate are in Virgo and Pisces. Pisces as the north node is pushing us into the soul path and soul initiation realms, to answer the spiritual callings. And this could mean literal travel to a place our soul has felt called to. Virgo energy as the south node ruler asks us for more release around control and perfectionism of the soul journey we are taking. This square reminds us of the push/pull points, the tension of soul becoming and the soul path. Perhaps it is through the friction and challenges we have been facing that we can feel the discomfort so strongly and intensely enough to want to make the needed change and soul redirection.

This full moon energy encompasses a lot of squaring energy, here to remind us of such discomfort and friction points needed at times to get us to the point of making a new choice. Mercury (our mind and communication) will be square to Neptune (our spirituality and dreams), creating a sense of friction here for all the ways our minds have not been fully tapping in to the ever available and infinitely supportive spiritual realms. Have we been believing yet again in the fantasy and illusion of reality and someone or something altering our reality, or directing the mind into actual supportive spiritual practices? Venus (romance, relationships, money, and values) will be square to Pluto (change, soul transformation), reminding us that our fears around money or love directly relate to how empowered we feel in our lives and how connected or disconnected we feel to our true soul power. Mars (masculine energy and action) squares Uranus (innovation), reminding us how uncomfortable it has felt to exist in the realms of toxic masculinity within and around us and where we drastically need to flip the script and rewrite the masculine codes of true divine template as protector, provider, and container of the feminine energy within and around us.

And with many outer planets changing signs this year, the time is now, now, and now to make the change and move ahead in a whole new direction perhaps too. Saturn, which rules our karma, responsibility, structures, and discipline, has just moved into the sign of Aries on May 24 where it’ll remain until September when it dips back into Pisces during its retrograde until February 2026. The shift from Pisces to Aries is a big one, ending a whole zodiac cycle to begin and initiate a brand new one. Saturn in Pisces has been full of emotional processing, karmic endings, literal or metaphorical death, and profound surrender, as well as building the spiritual foundation for our dreams and visions. Saturn in Aries now is bold, direct, inspired, packing the heat and the punch. Self-directed and self-initiative. Saturn says build something that’ll last, and Aries says do it now. Temperance and patience here are needed, though. As well as ego checks of any ego flaring and inflammatory egos. Aries is all about the self. Permission to be selfish here. To carve our path for and of the self. Saturn will remain in Aries for the next 2.5 years.

Neptune, which rules our dreams, intuition, subconscious, and the spiritual world, moved into Aries in March and will be there for the next 14 years. A time to initiate our soul dreams, to birth a new world bent on spiritual mission and purpose, and to make it tangible. The great spiritual awakening and coming deeper into our soul sovereignty. Uranus, which governs innovation, rebellion, technology, and change will be moving out of grounded, earth Taurus into fast-moving Gemini energy on July 7 and remain for the next eight years. Here, the shake-ups in the mental body happen quickly, an activation and innovation of the mind, ideas, and new perspectives. Saturn will be conjunct to Neptune here as well, a dissolving of structure. Aries rules the head and the ego, so perhaps here too a dissolving of false ego structures in our world at large so we can build newer and truer structures bent on soul sovereignty and self-initiation.

This Sagittarius full moon is a time to self initiate through answering the soul call to adventure and explore. To take a walk on the wild side of life and take the adventure that lights up your soul. Jupiter as the ruler of this moon, now in Cancer, connects us deeply to our emotional truth now. Where are we ready to claim more of ourselves and let go of emotional pain around settling for anything less than what we truly deserve and are worthy of receiving? We know what truth feels like. We know what truth sounds like. Truth has a resonance that only we can truly feel and know. This full moon reminds us of what our truth feels like now.

We are not the same person we were even a few months ago. We won’t tolerate toxic and harmful energy in our lives the same way we used to. As the light continues to amplify onto the planet, the density of karma continues to clear out. We are seeking the higher ideals and expressions of truth now. Seeing where we have been stifled and limited. Expanding back into what’s possible for ourselves to experience in this lifetime as a soul. What do we truly want to experience next? What adventure calls to us? Is it a literal adventure, a creation of a family or business, or perhaps a metaphorical journey through soul shedding what’s false and stepping deeper into truth?

As we approach the solstice energy on June 21, we remember what light feels like. What the journey back home to the light of our soul feels like. The light within us is being amplified each time we choose truth. Each time we choose love in the face of hatred or fear. Each time we choose to soften into self-love and forgive the self for believing it didn’t deserve love or respect. Each time we choose boundaries in the name of self-protection from energies not of good or positive intent. We get to choose what energy we allow in and align with. And that is our power.

Let this full moon awaken you to the wild unknown calling. To the next soul adventure dripping in ecstasy, devotion, and pleasure ignited. Awaken the excitement and passion within to choose a life of exploration rather than a known cage. To choose growth in the face of fears echoing in the chambers of our heart. Allow this full moon to expand you into possibility of what you can create next. Let this full moon awaken your soul to a higher vision for your life. Allow the truth within you to speak. To proclaim to the universe, “This is who I am and this is what I stand for.” Then align all actions with sacred devotion and commitment to that truth. Realign. Reawaken. Remember the self whole. Let. New. Vision. Call. You. Awaken. You. Wild. Unknown. Stirring. Let. The. Call. Of. The. Wild. Frontier. Reinvigorate. Your. Spirit. That. Life. Can. Be. The. Greatest. Adventure. To be had. Let. Life. Delight. You. Surprise. You. And. Ignite. Your. Heart. Alive. Awake. Here. To. Remember. Life. Is. Meant. To. Be. Lived. So. Live. It. Fully. Aho. Amen. And so it is.
